A quick guide

How to use this tool

  1. Choose at least two PDF files or drop them into the tool. Each document is parsed to confirm it is readable and to count its pages.
  2. Use the move buttons to set the file order. Each document's pages stay together in that sequence.
  3. Review the feature and signature limitations and confirm before merging.
  4. Merge, check the page count and output size, then download the resulting PDF.
Example

Add a cover PDF, a report, and an appendix. Move the report ahead of the appendix if needed, confirm the limitations, and merge to create one document with the original PDF pages in that file order.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

Does merging preserve page sizes and rotation?

The tool copies PDF page objects in the chosen document order and verifies the generated page count. Page dimensions and rotation are retained by the page-copy operation. Features outside the page content may not be retained.

Are forms, bookmarks, and annotations preserved?

Not reliably. The merger may omit forms, bookmarks, annotations, links, attachments, and document scripts. The interface discloses these limits and requires confirmation before you can merge. Keep the original PDFs if those features matter.

What happens to a signed PDF?

Changing or joining a signed document invalidates its digital signatures. The tool does not preserve or recreate signatures; retain the originals and do not treat the merged copy as signed.

Can I merge an encrypted PDF?

No. Password-protected or encrypted documents are rejected by the PDF library. This tool does not request passwords or try to bypass encryption.
