A quick guide
How to use this editor
- Choose one readable, unencrypted PDF. Its pages are rendered locally as you navigate rather than all at full resolution at once.
- Choose Text, Highlight, or Draw / sign and click or drag on the visible page. Add an image overlay with the image picker.
- Select an overlay to move, resize, adjust its properties, or delete it. Position and size fields, page navigation, zoom, undo, and redo are also available.
- Review the limitations and acknowledge them, then export a new PDF copy.
Add a multiline note to page 2, draw a visual mark on page 3, and place a transparent PNG logo on page 1. Navigate between pages, undo or redo changes, then export one PDF while keeping the original unchanged.

Frequently asked questions
Does this replace or edit existing PDF text?
No. The editor adds visual overlays over the original page content. It does not edit or replace text already in the PDF, and it does not provide OCR.
Does a white rectangle securely redact information?
No. A shape placed over page content is only a visual overlay. It does not remove the covered text or data and must never be treated as secure redaction.
Is a drawn signature a digital signature?
No. A drawing is a visual mark only. It does not identify or verify a signer, use a cryptographic certificate, or create a signature validation record.
Which characters can I type?
The included standard PDF fonts support Latin/WinAnsi characters. Unsupported characters such as many emoji are identified rather than silently omitted; replace them with supported characters before export.
Will the original PDF be changed?
No. The tool creates a new PDF download and leaves the selected source file unchanged. Overlays become page content in the new file and may not be editable through this website afterward.
What PDF features may change?
PDF forms, annotations, bookmarks, links, and other viewer-specific interactive features may not behave the same after export. Exporting can invalidate existing digital signatures. Encrypted PDFs are not supported.
