A quick guide
How to use this tool
- Choose a JPEG, PNG, or WebP image from your device.
- Enter a width and height in pixels, or switch to Percentage and enter a scale from 1% to 500%.
- The aspect ratio lock starts enabled. When entering dimensions, changing one side updates the other.
- Choose the output format and, for JPEG or WebP, select an encoding quality.
- Resize and inspect the new dimensions and preview, then download the file.
For a 2400 × 1600 photo, enter a width of 1200 with aspect-ratio lock enabled: the height becomes 800. Choose PNG to retain transparent areas, or JPEG/WebP when a lossy output is appropriate.

Frequently asked questions
Is the aspect ratio locked by default?
Yes. With the lock enabled, changing width or height updates the other dimension to preserve the source proportions. Turn it off to enter independent dimensions.
Can I resize by a percentage?
Yes. Switch to Percentage and enter a value from 1% through 500%. The final pixel dimensions are rounded to whole pixels.
Will a transparent PNG remain transparent?
Yes, when exporting as PNG or WebP. JPEG does not support transparency, so the selected background color is used instead.
What are the size limits?
The source and output may not exceed 12,000 pixels on either side or 40 million pixels in total. Input files are limited to 20 MB.
